Abstract
The uptake of the new sacubitril/valsartan medication has been slow, but on a gradual rise. The real-world sacubitril/valsartan users in a managed care population are complicated patients with significant medical comorbidities and a history of taking heart failure medication. Understanding the characteristics of this population will inform comparator selection in future studies.
